With major international sporting events scheduled for three years in a row ─ the 2019 Rugby World Cup， Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020， and the Kansai World Masters Games 2021 ─ Japan is set to make big strides as a sports host. The World Forum on Sport and Culture was held in October 2016. Here， centering on sports， culture， and business， participants discussed the tangible and intangible legacy about to be created by Japan together with the world. Coming together at this Forum were a total of 7，500 of the world’s leading lights in various genres. The words exchanged across these genres will lead us toward great advances to the future.
